Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed Ali has offered his country’s readiness to mediate stop the fighting between the Yemeni brothers and bring peace and reconciliation to the country.

This came in a letter addressed to the Yemeni people and the warring parties there, published by the official agency on Tuesday.

Abiy Ahmed called on Yemeni parties not to drain their country’s capabilities, sit down at the negotiation table and resolve their issues with reason and wisdom through dialogue to end the fighting.

“War has no winner. It destroys the homeland, its capabilities and civilisation” he said adding that all the warring parties in Yemen will lose.

“War brings only destruction, loss, hatred and riots” the Ethiopian prime minister added.
